These sensors measure movement across multiple axes, detecting sudden impacts, rapid deceleration, and orientation changes with precision. A dedicated motion-processing chip analyzes these signals in real time, enabling the device to distinguish between a genuine fall and everyday jostling. The hardware is shock-resistant, vibration-stable, and optimized for consistent performance when attached to walkers. Despite its advanced technology, the sensors operate at extremely low power to preserve battery life throughout the day.

Connectivity:

When a fall is confirmed, the Haven Clip sends alerts through a redundant, multi-channel communication system to maximize reliability. The device first attempts to transmit the notification through Bluetooth to the user’s smartphone for instant delivery via the Haven app. If the phone isn’t nearby—or if a high-priority situation is detected—the Clip automatically switches to its built-in cellular connection to send the alert directly to caregivers without delay. Wi-Fi signals can also assist when available, helping the device sync data faster and improving location accuracy tied to the event.
