The Haven Clip’s GPS module is integrated directly into its compact housing, using a low-power, high-sensitivity chipset optimized for daily use. This chip is capable of locking onto multiple satellite systems—such as GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo—to improve accuracy in challenging environments like crowded streets or inside vehicles. A dedicated antenna is embedded within the device’s frame, ensuring strong reception without adding bulk. The hardware is shock-resistant, weather-resistant, and designed to maintain consistent tracking even during strenuous movement or accidental drops.

Connectivity

The Haven Clip uses a hybrid communication system that blends Bluetooth, cellular data, and Wi-Fi positioning when available. Bluetooth connects the device to the user’s smartphone for routine updates and low-energy communication. If the wearer becomes separated from their phone—or if an emergency event occurs—the device switches to its built-in cellular module to transmit GPS data directly to the caregiver app. Wi-Fi signals can also be used to refine indoor location estimates or improve accuracy when satellite visibility is limited. This multi-layer connectivity ensures the Haven Clip stays online and communicative wherever the wearer goes.
